South Korea's largest multipurpose dam and a representative tourist attraction in Chuncheon. Completed in 1973, Soyanggang Dam stands 123m high with a embankment length of 530m and a water storage capacity of 2.9 billion tons, making it so massive that it rarely opens its gates even during heavy rainfall. Baekdohaebyeon Beach
Baekdo Beach is located 12km north of Sokcho and 12km south of Ganseong. It opened in July 1976 as a quiet vacation spot with a 0.3km clean beach and approximately 2,500 pyeong of white sand beach. Along with the nearby Sampo Beach, it was designated as a National Tourist Site in May 1980. The seaside has many unusual rock formations and pine forests, offering scenic surroundings. The white sand beach is curved like a bow, with a red lighthouse standing on the right. The slope is gentle, and the water quality and sand quality are good.

Yoseonjeong Pavilion & Yoseonam Rock
Yoseong Pavilion is a pavilion located in Mureung-ri, Suju-myeon, with a clear stream flowing in front of it, and the characters 'Yoseong Rock' are carved into a large flat rock on the riverbank. Yoseong Pavilion is said to be a place where, during the height of Buddhism in the Unified Silla period, National Preceptor Cheolgam Doyun and Zen Master Jinghyo established the Heungryeong Seonwon monastery at the foot of Saja Mountain not far from here and frequently came to propagate Buddhism; it is said to have been a site of a small hermitage at that time. Additionally, when Zen Master Jinghyo attained Nirvana here, approximately one thousand sarira were produced, making it a place with deep Buddhist connections. A Buddhist relief statue and one small stone pagoda still remain in the vicinity of the pavilion today.

Tomb of Sin Sunggyeom
This is the tomb of General Shin Sung-gyeom, who held the title Jangjeolgong (壯節公), a founding contributor to Goryeo and the progenitor of the Pyeongsan Shin clan. In 918, together with Bae Hyeon-gyeong, Hong Yu, Bok Ji-gyeom, and others, he contributed to the establishment of Goryeo by removing Gyeon-hye and enthrone Wang Geon. In the 10th year of the Taejo reign (927), during the Battle of Gongsan in Daegu against the forces of Later Baekje's Gyeon-hwon, he died in battle by wearing the Taejo's clothing to block the enemy when the Taejo was surrounded.
